Festive Smoker Base XL 50 × 50 cm with Firebox and Flue is a metal assembly for building your own garden smoker or modifying an existing smoking chamber. The set includes a sturdy steel base, a separate XL firebox, and a flue consisting of two pipes and two elbows.

The assembly allows you to channel smoke and heat from an external firebox into the smoking chamber. Individual parts are designed to be interconnected via a 100 mm diameter flue.

STURDY BASE FOR BUILDING A GARDEN SMOKER

The foundation of the entire assembly is the festive metal base XL, made of thick sheet metal with a black matte heat-resistant coating. It provides a stable bottom section for placing a compatible smoking chamber.

The base has an outer footprint of 51 × 51 cm and the metal part itself has a height of 15 cm. Included are sheet metal legs, mounting screws, and a blanking plate for the rear inlet.

The base design is also suitable for electric smokers with a heating coil and smoke box. However, this assembly is equipped with an external XL firebox for wood heating.

LARGE XL FIREBOX WITH COMBUSTION CONTROL

The set includes an XL smoker firebox measuring 40 × 25 × 25 cm, made of sheet metal approximately 1.6–1.8 mm thick.

The larger firebox space allows for the use of longer logs. Thanks to the three levels of air intake regulation on the door and the smoke exhaust regulation on the rear, you can adjust the combustion conditions.

The firebox is equipped with a grate for better combustion, a carrying handle, and an outlet for a 100 mm diameter flue.

FLUE CONSISTING OF TWO PIPES AND TWO ELBOWS

To connect the firebox to the base, the set contains two 50 cm long flue pipes and two 90° elbows.

The individual metal parts have a diameter of 100 mm and allow for the construction of a smoke path between the external firebox and the smoker. The elbows are used to change the direction of the smoke pipe.

Thanks to the individual components, the assembly can be arranged according to the specific positioning of the firebox and the smoker, while maintaining correct and safe smoke conduction.

HOW DOES THE SMOKER ASSEMBLY WORK?

The firebox is placed outside the smoking chamber and connected to the metal base via the smoke pipe. By burning suitable wood, smoke and heat are generated, which flow through the smoke duct into the smoker.

The combustion intensity can be influenced by the air supply to the firebox and the regulation of smoke exhaust. The resulting temperature in the smoking chamber also depends on the design of the smoker, the fuel used, the length of the smoke pipe, and surrounding conditions.

During installation, it is important to ensure the stable placement of all parts, sufficient distance from flammable materials, and proper smoke exhaust.

PLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF THE ASSEMBLY

Place the base and the firebox on a stable, level, and non-flammable surface. When assembling the smoke pipe, check the correct connection of the individual parts and ensure that the joints are secure.

Allow the firebox and smoke pipe to cool down after use. Regularly remove ash from the firebox and check the patency of the smoke pipe, in which soot and other impurities can accumulate.
